Armstrong coming out for retiring is old news. The seven-time Tour de France champion will reveal his plans this coming Wednesday, 24 September 2008.
So what's the hottest news out in the cycling world? Well, there's this rumor that Armstrong is part of consortium planning to buy out the Amaury Sports Organization, the owners of 10 top-level races. One of which is the Tour de France.
