New Shoes: Louis Garneau Trail Grip

Got myself a new pair of mountain bike shoes today, thanks to the wonderful guys at All Terra Bike Shop. It's a pair of Louis Garneau Trail Grip Shoes andfor only P2,900, it's definitely a steal! Fit is OK and the profile is wider than the relatively pointy Shimano M-151G that I have. Now I can retire my old ones hoping that maybe my toenails will start to grow this time.

LMAO! The last line about your toenails cracked me up!

I tried these on also at AllTerra. My feet are wide and these were a tad uncomfortable.

I got me the Louie Garneau Terra Grip instead. Much more comfortable, tho I still like the look (and color combo) of the Trail Grip.

Overall, Louie Garneaus gives you a lot of shoe for less money. Bang for the buck, in my opinion.

I didn't get to try the Terra Grip. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was a bit out of my budget at that time. These were OK compared to the Shimanos that I had. Yeah, LGs are good value shoes.
